Welcome...
We study biological control systems with emphasis on gene regulatory networks. Current themes include:
Design principles of genetic circuits
Stochasticity in gene expression
Reverse-engineering of complex networks
Genome-scale systematic screening
Predictive modeling of cellular dynamics
Genetic network engineering
Our research employs an interdiciplinary systems biology approach that combines methodologies from multiple scientific fields to develop, enhance and implement tools to address fundamental post-genome biolgical and medical problems.
Members of our team have diverse backgrounds spanning cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, computational biology, engineering, physics and mathematics. In addition, we collaborate closely with leading research labs nationally and internationally.
